Let’s make assessment a powerful tool for teaching and learning!
Assessment should be used as a tool for promoting development and learning. It should accommodate students’ needs and embrace and protect the richness of human diversity.
Considering this, we developed an assessment framework that integrates knowledge from different fields of pedagogy and psychology, as well as the extensive experience in education by the partners of the project. Our aim is to set the ground for a new mindset towards student assessment and empower teachers.
As part of the process, we conducted a needs analysis study (you can find the report below), spent time with teachers, collecting their ideas, challenges and needs and developed our framework. In addition, we created a simple gender balance in education checklist. You can find all the documents below:
